With more than 15 years of experience, 30+ international awards, and hundreds of weddings photographed around the world now Based in the San Francisco, All the Bay Area and Napa Valley, our approach is warm, intentional, and rooted in authenticity.
Essence Weddings is led by Eliana Grellet and Ana, wedding photographers based in the United States, known for their close, intuitive, and emotionally driven approach to storytelling.
With a strong Brazilian background and over a decade of experience each, they bring a unique cultural warmth and sensitivity to their work. Together, they have photographed more than 600 weddings across 18 countries and received over 30 international photography awards.
They believe a wedding is not a performance, but a deeply human experience. Their work is rooted in presence, proximity, and trust — allowing couples to feel seen, safe, and fully themselves. From that closeness, real moments unfold naturally, guided by natural light and honest emotion.
